May 2015 is starting to shape up as being a great season: We are averaging 10-12 hook-ups a trip with a mixed bag of smaller kings and several 10-13lb larger kings. Spring fishing offers some of the hardest fighting kings of the season as the cold water really keeps them active. Contact me soon to book your next or first trip.
June: Unfortunately June proved to be a very slow moth with average catches way down- however the first part of July is bringing us some big kings, just not the numbers we are hoping for. I expect late July and August to be some very productive months. Book soon before all the prime dates are gone!
July: Well, july has proved to be hit or miss on the fish. Our average catch has dropped to 5 with an average bite of around 7. August is almost here and the big kings need to come home, we are expecting a slower month but hoping for some decent sized kings.
